Making an exhibition happen is a romantic experience connecting humans, spaces and substances.
MULTIDISCIPLINARY Artist / Executive Curator
Shirong Gu takes the role as the Multidisciplinary Artist/Executive Curator at Superb Gallery of Art NYC. Shirong started to work with us as Production Designer/Curator since 2017 when Superb was previously named Artosino Gallery, which located in mid town Manhattan garment district.
Artosino Gallery had to give up the previous space after experiencing the hardship of Covid times back in 2020. Shirong took the initiative of maintaining and redeveloping the reputation, the platform and the business Artosino had been achieved through the past decade. In order to give Artosino Gallery a speedy comeback, Shirong brought up the concept of a Temporary Pop Up location. He was fully in charge of space scouting, renovation ideas, layout designing and interior installation to fully make over the pop up space in 2021.
Shirong made all his effort unconditionally to get through the difficulties together with Artosino, he came up with the idea of rebranding the gallery image with the name of Superb Gallery of Art and set our art vision/mission to be ‘Support, Share and Source’. Thus, Artosino Gallery was reborn with a fresh image, and Superb Gallery of Art NYC was debuted when 2022 began.
