Artosino Gallery is hosting a Lacquer Painting Exhibiton from 05/20/2019 - 05/30/2019, with Artist Wenzhi Zhang. Wenzhi was born in Guangzhou, China. She holds a MFA from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the Seoul National University of Sciences and Technology in South Korea. Her works are represented in prestigious private and public collections, including private collections of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, the National Art Museum of China, Malaysia National Art Museum, Norway National Museum of Art, Korean Palace Kiln Museum and many other university museums. She has lectured internationally in many universities and has written several textbooks.
During this exhibition Wenzhi is showcasing a massive collection of her phenomena Lacquer Paintings, each piece took more five years to complete and brought breathtaking details and finishing due to the special skill of Lacquer Paint.
